I’m a girl who really (I mean really) enjoys food, especially desserts, and trying new things. I love food, travel, and photography. I’m basically a “foodtographer”.
When I first stepped into the kitchen in the Spring of 2006, I baked. My first kitchen success were vanilla bean madelines. Later on, I expanded into all sorts of baking (cakes, pies, tarts, breads) and more recently, I've fallen in love with the realm of cooking. I enjoy the experimentation and creativity involved in making yummy (and healthy) food.
I’m blogging primarily to share my successes and learnings in the kitchen. Plus, since I rarely measure out ingredients or follow any one recipe, I wanted a place to refer to in the future. Don’t you hate it when you forget how you created that one unforgettable cake or tart? I aim for simplicity in my kitchen adventures. After all, if something is too complicated, who’ll ever want to make it again?
